Since its creation Blue Ventures has co-ordinated marine projects in Madagascar, Tanzania, New Zealand, South Africa and the Comoros Islands, focusing predominantly on coral reef ecosystems. Medical support for these expeditions is provided by an expedition medic who oversees all diving and field based medical and safety aspects on site as well as organising and maintaining an up to date casualty evacuation plan.
