Consultant General Orthopaedic Surgeon - Alice Springs - Northern Territory - Australia

As Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Provide first class services and supervise the inpatient care in Orthopaedics on a day to day basis.
Organising efficient outpatient clients.
Supervising the activities of junior doctors in Orthopaedics, ensuring quality of clinical care and accurate medical records.
Participating in the on-call roster.
Starting and managing quality management, peer review and ongoing personal professional development programs.
Participate in teaching for registrars and residents and education programs for medical students and supporting staff
Undertake research.
Your communication skills will be first class and you will enjoy dealing with people from all walks of life and cultures in an ever changing environment.  If you have experience in or an interest in indigenous health or simply be interested in making a major difference to a disadvantaged population group then this could be the opening you have been waiting for in Australia.
